I see kyle woods doing no hb 12 o clocks in those old wheelie tutorial dvd's, and he is using the clutch to bring them down??

But i suppose if it was an accident it might be kinda outta control to grab the clutch at the last second.

if you can't go more than 10 mins your a ****** *****.....i'm a newb and i do 30 min at a time on average in 100+ degrees no problem. RIDE TILL YOU WANT TO CRY!! go home with blister's and sunburns and cuts and your muscles so sore you can barely get out of bed to go to work the next day. Hell yeah i take breaks when I'm at the lot but not because i'm too ****** sore or tired but because my clutch finger will no longer work or i'm getting so frustrated i need to take a break before i **** myself up.

This will be your engine brake lesson for the day. When you hit 12, you pull in the clutch then, let the rpms drop then pop the clutch, then a phenominom known as engine brake happens where since the engine is rotating at a different speed then the tire it slows the rotation of the tire untill both are back at the same speed. This feels like a brake and its not, its the engine doing it.. MAGIC !!

I bolted on a handbrake just after I learned footbrake.... it didn't stop me from looping a 30mph spreader to SS.... I had no concept of HB so I pulled the clutch instead of hb and did a superman slide across asphalt.


Point being... most newbs think the HB is going to be SOOOO much easier to remember than that pesky footbrake (even when they have ZERO concept of BRAKE CONTROL). So they slap one on and are INVINCIBLE!!!

Me too..... it collected dust for months, when I couldn't even do a staggard coaster yet. Once I had all the basics nailed I started using it... then spent a few months learning the in's and out's of it.

I'm still sleeping w/ one eye open cause of that scary guy.

Much respect to the AZ guys.... but it ain't about where your from or where you live....

Either you have the skills OR YOU DON'T.

So don't think that just because you live in AZ that you will attain their skill level w/ the greatest of ease.

The guys in the vids have earned their respect... You on the other hand need to settle down just a bit.

I guarantee you will have your fair share of injuries and setbacks.

I ride w/ guys every day that put me to shame... and it effects my attitude not one bit. It's all about havin fun.

LOL. i was happy with my riding tonite, but maybe i'll make a fake hb out of a clothes pin to increase my confidence level.

 

He showed up at my ******* house today and i didnt want him to turn me into a prezel to i socked him in the face. Then he stabbed me three times in my kidney, but im ok, just clinging to life in a coma.

 

don't get me wrong bro i'm not saying that just cuz i ride with them i'm good now.....far from it. i just love seeing how much respect they have. and i was also pointing out that imo riding in the weather we have here does make you stronger physically.

i have a long way to go....many wrecks, many injuries and hopefully lots of success in completing my goals. i'm very thankful that i have guys like number 2 there to give me tips.....to yell at me to get my forks level.

we have a blast and thats what makes it worth it even with my squidtacular moments. for the record i want to add that halfrican is one of the funniest people on the planet.
