Re: i dont understand....
My two cents on the whole matter is that handbrakes, and indestructable si and tygershark cages, 12 bars and gearing have made it SO EASY that it is possible now for a rookie to learn every trick in the bag within a year. No one pays their dues anymore, its no longer a badass and im not even going to call it a sport anymore rather like a random thing people do on bikes. Soon your going to see more and more girls at it and you know what i bet they will be better at it with their ultimate bendyness because its a no risk sport now.

Re: i dont understand....
I would have to disagree, having seen 2 friends almost have their foot torn completely off. and ive seen some gruesome pics in here, and guess what, they all had hand brakes. **** happens even when you have a safety net.
I want to see some seat stander rev limit coasters with no hand brake, just saying

Re: i dont understand....
Well for noobs better safe than sorry. Why not set your bike up right the first time and save on replacing countless broken parts? Stunters need cages...12 bars save tail sections, subframes, etc... And so what if it makes riding easier? Life is a bitch as it is... Stunt riding will always have risks, regardless of equipment. Personally, watching someone try to learn spreaders, high chairs, 50/50, seatstanders, with no HB in a lot is just damn scary. The last thing we need is a noob scraping face at 40mph down our lovely spot.

That was a freak accident and could have happened at a race track just as easily. I could argue my point all day long and the fact is ONE i'm right this sport has turned too safe, and two anyone that argues my point shows they don't know what things were like before all the easy buttons came. So argue all you want with me, your only making yourself look bad.

Re: i dont understand....
Those that say stunting is easy geared ect ect have just gotten so used to their bikes that it feels easy. Stunting is stll hard for us newbs even with all the goodies. And rolling out endos are insane no matter what your bike setup is. And those that go to the lot to watch with a fully set up bike, hey, we enjoy watching people stunt. I've spent countless hours watching youtube videos. Those of us without seasoned forearms are spent after about 10 mins anyways so watching is about all we can do. I don't mind riding in front of good riders if the point is for them to critique me and make me better but if there are a bunch of really good riders practicing then my time is better spent watching. I can get a lot of ideas that way. If they aren't much better than me I'll be riding too.

Roger can say what he wants to me cuz he has been around the block long enough and i'll respect that. I sure would like to hear what you have to say though.
