Re: stunt bikes
Yup haha I got my 96 GSXR750 for $150 O_o not stolen either. It didn't look nice at all, didn't want to start up, and needed a few parts. Got it running and fixed the bad parts for about $150...then sold the fairings and headlight for $120. I didn't tell my friend I got it from about that though or he'd probably be all salty.
My other friend just picked up a 98 R1 for $300! clean title and everything. It doesn't really look all that great but the frame seems good and the forks don't seem bent. The bike didn't run and the previous owner couldn't figure out why. My friend bought it...and fixed it the next day haha. My friend is broke as hell too so I know it wasn't an expensive fix.

Re: stunt bikes
I think the best thing too is if you can find people who know nothing about bikes. Buying their bikes for really cheap and fixing them. The reason my GSXR wasn't starting? Bad connection on the stator killed the battery....put a new battery and cleaned up the connector and bingo bike runs like a champ.
