i just bought a 04 YZ125 and it did not come with a manual, i am getting her prime for the riding season, so if anyone could help me out and knows the GEAR OIL AMOUNT that is to be added into bike after being drained??? thanks alot fellas

 

it should say the cc's right where the fill plug is...I had an 03 back in the day and it said it right on the casing right by the fill...

go look you will probably find it

 

No man i double checked before i wrote forum???? its not on case of bike anywhere unlike my 03 RM 125, the 04 YZ doesnt have it on there?

 

then call your dealer and they can look it up...it will probably be like 650 cc's or 600.....

worse come to worse pull the oil check bolt and pour oil in real slowly until it comes out the hole...

 

Just search google for a pdf manual. You can find them for free. There was a post up here somewhere with tons of free manuals for download. Maybe someone here knows where that is.

 

You can get a pdf manual free off of the allthingsmoto.com forum...It should be 650cc though.

 

you can user automatic tranny fluid for yz . no joke. a lot of racers used it .
