are not all that bad. A couple of us are at a very high profile local spot tonight practicing and all of a sudden a cop rolls up... We shut the bikes down and prepare to get kicked out... Cop rolls up, takes a look at our bikes and says "Oh, thats what you're doing, I'll get the **** out of your way. I'll probably watch for a bit from afar." He then proceeds to set up radar at the end of the lot to bust speeders on the adjacent street. We were like :YEAH

 

did he actually say il get the **** out of your way. sweet

 

+1....I've never gotten a dick...worse they ever did was say we couldnt be doing what we were here and had to leave....

 

hey its not cops its just some people are dicks and some are nice its just that your noticing the dicks that chose to be a cop as a profession

 

Yes, he actually said "****" which was the best part.

 

Haha that's pretty cool...cops used to be cool down here...but I think they are being pressured by the higher ups now to crack down. At this one stunt spot cops and security used to come and watch everyone practice. Now if you go there they come and ticket everyone.

 

we had a cop on a bike come to our spot and was really cool, let us sit on his bike and was really cool, didnt kick us out just said we could carry on after he had left!

theres a ohp here in my town he comes to our spot and watches we were killin the streets one day and he was on his busa riding power wheelies and doing like 160 in a 65 but he is cool in fact we have never been out of our spot

 

i have been motorcycle courier for 6 years now and have been stopped millions of times! And what i've realized is that a bad attitude turns cops into dicks...if you stay quiet and if you apologize(even if you are on the right) your chances to get away with just a warning are much bigger! (i am dodging a ban for three years,i need my driving license)!:YEAH

here in the UK bike cops sometimes come past our spot cos they follow the football coaches that park up round from our spot and they come in to watch us ride and chat away! now when they ride past they wave at us on there bikes!! sometimes we get the odd traffic cop come in and go on a power trip but we keep our cool speak politely and cos its a legit spot they go on there way!!

there not all ****** but as bulgarianDan says bad attitude = arsehole cops!

 

yeah i got a wreckless operation last year and just recently got pulled over again passing a state highway patrol head on up on a wheelie i got out of it and he just gave me a warning, i got so lucky im sure i would have lost my L s

 

Just depends on the cop, and how his day is going.


I can gaurantee, every police department, has their share of DICKS.

And you never know, when officer ********, maybe just left a high speed pursuit of people doing wheelies on the streets.

Then sees you in a parking lot, so comes and hits you with tickets to make up for it..



Just never know.. Thats why I don't **** with them.

I try to ride places cops dont frequent, and cops don't see.

 

we have permission and for the most part, they honor that at our spot.

 

I've been kicked out of a dozen spots and have NEVER received 1 ticket. It's all about being polite, respectful and just keeping your MOUTH SHUT. If they are there to kick you out, they are going to kick you out regardless of what you say or do, just don't make matters worse is the best motto to follow when dealing with a cop.

ive noticed that if your polite generally they be nice and let ya go but some cops see that im a minor and choose to be ****** when im riding my quad.... i was chill with this one cop didnt run or anything turned my quad off even tho i culda gotten away was polite and **** said i was trespassing put me in cuffs called my parents but decided to let me go at the last possible minute thank god my parents didnt pick up the fone

 

I said your chances are BIGGER to avoid fine and all the other crap.....but some times the cop would admire your bike and still **** you up!
