90 degree there is a bend at the top where the holes are to attatch it to the swingarm so that it mounts under the swing arm flat mount it is just a straight peice that mounts on the side of the swingarm, make sense?

Re: The HAI 5 finger saver!!!!

Yea kip did you use the bolts it came with? And what did you do just drill a hole and then screw those in? I was thinking I might drill and tap and get different bolts but not sure yet. Its alot bigger than I thought it was going to be too. But keeping my fingers is a good thing.

Also whats with people bitching about the price. Go make some homejobber piece then or better yet dont get one at all. 24 bucks is not too much and I'm a cheap **** and bitch about prices all the time. I was just glad to get one period!

Re: The HAI 5 finger saver!!!!

Yeah pretty sure I would pay $24 to keep my fingers. In reguards to some questions, I tipped my bike over on it's right side, put the fin where I thought it would do it's job the best, scratched x's with a bit where I needed to drill, then drilled a smaller hole than the screws that came with it. Used a phillips to snug them down and done deal, easy stuff. Sure you can make one for cheaper but I didn't have the machine to cut out steel so **** it, support HAI!

Re: The HAI 5 finger saver!!!!

After reading that story about the kid getting his leg ran through his sprocket,
and due to my squid like tendencies, I will be running these special H.A.I finger
savers for certain.
