Re: Tygershark Cages!!!!!

ok yea the 636 have the center brace and what i did to my si cages was s bend the left side its not caused by a weak design but because of the long distance from the mounts its bends right at the supports the cage still works but i would have to cut it off to remove it. ian makes a killer product but now its time to try something else i mean ill still run his other products.

ok that sounds more like it... cause i know that thing could not have had the same frame through that many cages.... and doesnt the si cages have a lifetime warranty also.... i am not sure but i thought he did ...damn bro... be easy on the bike.... i think i have only had to replace like 4 cages ...but it was 4 different bikes... you must be going for some sick *** tricks...most of my crashes ... i can pull clutch and save them from most of the damage if not all the damage.... take care man

i am not sure but i thought i heard somebody say that...it was...i could be wrong though ...you hear so much **** up here.... but i liked my tygershark and i still do... i havent had a problem but i would like a bottom brace.... but i just bought some extra spacers and stuff to go with the cage...and hopefully that does the trick... but if you are going to try something new go for it.... i wasnt thrilled about the price... but i still bought it ... but once i got it i was impressed with the cage...and the day i return it for a new cage free of charge...i guess that 340 investment will pay off:YEAH .... get you some stasis to go with you new cage bro

Re: Tygershark Cages!!!!!

i have an SI on my 600rr and bent it on the left side. snapped the slider clean off and if i want to remove the cage i will have to cut it. the bike got away from me and hit the wall at bout 60 wich i think is bout 33-40mph for you guys. my mate has an SI on his f4i and it holds up like a champ. hasnt bent or broken anything yet. i'm thinking of goin with Tyger shark for my next cage. figure no matter what cage i get the bikes goin to roll coz of its low engine mounts, but would like to see how well other cages hold up.

Re: Tygershark Cages!!!!!

man all ya'll hate so much on fi.....all it needs is a little tender love and care and a dab of that hot sauce and its a ****** pimp cage. but ya'll wouldn't know nothing about that. but my fi is holdin up fine so far and i haven't even modded it yet.

i think alot of all your hate comes from the 1st gen fi cages.....alot weaker materials than the new ones.

or maybe some of you just drop your bikes really hard. alot. i dunno.

i may still look into tygershark next though just cuz they look pretty sick on top of all the important ****.

brand new fi cage on my boys 929 a couple months ago fell doing a slow twelve and broke the stator cover ,motor mount and the frame.....

almost forgot to mention it was the first crash the cage seen

and it's not hate when it's true ,it is looking out for other stunters so they don't break there **** more then they have to

Not many people buy cages just to drop it softly ........it's protection from whatever can come. SI is the way in my opinion.

like you have said many times though different cages work better on some bikes than others.

for an f4i i think fi is good most of az's finest run em and no problems.

Only seen one F.I cage setup that's diesel.. Lin and Zacky Chan came up with a design using F.I cage and 2 extra sliders. Only for F4i though. That thing is strong as hell just expensive to fab up
