I think I will go back to work in a couple weeks since it's really boring and long weeks.

Yeah that's pretty nasty, was that you?
What caught me by surprise is I didn't know about them until they took my cast off. It just answered a lot of questions as to why I was in screaming pain the day after the surgery with the swelling, staples and cast pressure.

they didn't tell u?! I guess with a cast though it wouldn't matter because it's not like your going to get it stuck on anything or rip it out and no room for infection to get to it..
i hope they gave you good pain meds... i opted out of the heavy ones because i was REALLY starting to like the demorral .. i mean making SURE i was getting a shot 10 min before leaving the hosptial LOL ... instead i just stuck with the darvey's and celebrex...
do you have to wear those hose things on your leg to keep from blood clots?

i'm sure the doc told ya but try to keep the ankle higher than your heart(it's better if you stay in bed for a while)! That way there's gonna be less blood going there and less pain! Scar is cool IMO..Every scar carries character! Looking at the X-ray is like looking at mine! :YEAH

They had put staples because they cut the skin open for my surgery and as my ankle got twisted backwards and broke my leg, there was a lot of swelling. Today they took the staples off and it hurt like a bitch but feels a lot better now.

Your injury really looks like mine. Did you get staples and a cast too?

i had cast for 6 weeks and they used some dissolvable thread but the hardest part was stretching them muscles after the cast was off...it's been 8 months now and i'm not 100% still
