anyone else wake up and feel the earthquake this morn.....it shook the hell out of my house ......

 

It got me too about 4:15am, the weird thing is I never heard any dogs barking....

 

Felt that **** up here ...

thats how I woke up my dog was going crazy runnin around and barking, crazy ****

 

im just over an hour from the wisconsin illinois border and we felt it.

 

western ohio, and it woke me up. it shook the damn house.

 

Is that normal? I mean in the midwest?

supposedly there is a large fault line under Illinois.

 

Yep, I really big one. One of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded was in the midwest.

Correct, illinois is VERY active however most of the tremmors go unnoticed by people. 5.4 is larger then most but there was a special a few years back about how Midwest expiriences many earthquakes throughout the day.

 

Is that why I woke up around then? I woke up, but didn't realize that was why.

On that same site it said there was a 5.2 at 4:37AM

 

I have been in a few earthquakes.... 2.6 u wouldnt feel so much but a 5.2 ... ur going to for sure.... last one that rock my area pretty bad was in 1989 ....

 

I'm glad we don't get earthquakes down here but I guess we get enough hurricanes and sinkholes to make up for it.

at least with a hurricane u get some type of warning

 

maybe at 11:55 UTC ... but at 5:30 am ET there was a 5.4
