I just got home from riding the fiddy in the usual lot. I ride it in my work parking lot after work with some friends every week. And cops role through the lot alot and have never said anything other than thats cool and i should be wearing a helmet. Well tonight i saw a cop coming in the lot and i didnt seem to care so i kept doing my circles and he comes up saying all this **** about i cant ride here. So i said i have written permission that i can ride here and i can show that to you if u would like. So he says it doesnt matter if i have permission im not allowed to ride a fiddy in a parking lot anywhere cause it has public access. so i said what is the point of a lot if you cant have access to it. He told me the only place i can ride is my own private property like i have a lot in my backyard!! wtf.... why do cops have to give me a bad time when im riding a fiddy in a side parking lot at work not bothering anyone

iirc, running could turn things from a citation to felony evasion.. if he's a ***** and power tripping, i wouldn't push the envelope. Park your car or some **** blocking the lot and give him the one finger salute next time.

I just wanna know why cops cant find something better to do than bitch to me when im not bothering anybody. Go pull over ppl driving their cars while talking on their phones or causing danger to someone not someone having a good time riding a little fiddy in a small parking lot.

block off any access to public roads and your good to go!!! (cones, caution tape, trailer, a donut shop, anything to block the entrances from the public traffic) then if he decides to give u a ticket, play the roll to the judge on how u were responsible about what you were doing and you will be fine!

why cops harass people doing no harm in an empty parking lot at 2 oclock in the morning is one of the great mysteries of life that nobody will ever know. this is nothing new as skateboarders probably have it worse than we do, but most of the time its not the cops i'm worried about its the captain hero ************* and the old people that dont mind their own business. they get filled with such rage and hate its rediculous.

Well skateboarders damage property (fucked up curbs, benches, handrails, etc.) but as for stunters and especially 50 stunters WTF? haha cops got no reason to bitch at us. My friend was stunting his 50 and a cop said he needs to make it DOT approved if he wants to ride it in the street. While yes technically it is on public road and you have to have papers, license plate, and all that to ride on the road but COME ON it's a 50! and no ones around too haha

i got pulled over on my fiddy...cop was on my *** before i could put down my third gear wheelie sadly or i would have ran too, sadly 88cc doesnt beat a cruiser

$4000.00 in tickets later
no registration, no insurance, no helmet, stunting...
its been a rough year paying that bitch off...

where i live the cops tell us the only time it will be a problem is if the neighbors complain. and we dont have a lot to ride in we ride the streets. we do wheelies right behind the cop car going down the road all they do is laugh at us cause were 25 and riding little kids toys they say. lol
