How slow can you ride a wheelie?

Only reason I ask, is I find it hard to believe you could ride a slow wheelie, but couldn't ride a LONG wheelie

I was riding 3miles+ for MONTHS before I learned idle.. Then it still took me another year before I really started trying circles

I've always thought long highway wheelies were the easiest..

no, haha, i was saying my previous goal was a mile, and now that I've achieved it my new goal is circles

But on my stock gearing I can consistently ride slower than 15mph, which isn't creeping but it's slow for me... I actually got down to single digit speeds once or twice today though.

Re: The Real Circle Wheelie Checklist

Wouldn't a left circle be easier because your trailing/lower (center of gravity) leg is your left one? Maybe not?

I almost stalled a couple of times in the lot last week but I can't ride long *** wheelies on the freeway. Dunno why? Seems silly to me that its that way but I'm a really shitty rider on the street.

edit - stock gears and stock clutch...forgot to add that.

You can still catch yourself going left

I learned left on my 50 first, so its way easier to go left for me..

And I think left is better, because, if you gotta put your foot down, you can still stay on the brake.. Whereas going right, if you take your foot off, and your idled up, you loop out

If I stay on top of the bike in staggard I really don't get arm pump.. It's only when I lean with it to go faster that I get a little

you can do that but you might end up bogging the motor down and then have to gas it a bit to get 'er back on point

I like to clutch it straight into the circle and then catch idle or whatever I'm doing once I'm there

Could be right. I've been up in 3rd before and set down around a hundo but I don't enjoy it. Its just not my thing. I was scared ***** less that night too after doing it because of the wind. Never did it again.
