Re: f4i sides cut

I'm in the same boat as Trick, I don't want to just start hacking away at my sides without having an idea of what's been done.

Sorry for not contributing anything.

Re: f4i sides cut

I am interested in this also. I was also wondering if once you hack the top half of the fairing off.. what holds it on? I'm not really going to stunt so i won't have a cage. More of a street fighter kind of thing. So is the only thing really holding the fairing on at this point the cage? I know there are still bolts left once you cut it.. but I don't see how it would stay on very well past 100mph especially on the front.

Sorry to sort of thread jack.

ANYWAY

POST SOME PICS! I need ideas.. F4i looks horrid without a belly pan IMO.

Re: f4i sides cut

I am also interested in doing this. The only pic I can find on stuntlife is of borne's bike. Looks like most people cut along the factory decals. I thought about using a hornet bellypan but im not sure how well it would fit, and they are expensive.

I'm leaning towards cutting mine like skidmark's, but I really like to see more.
