05/06 636 subframe/SI round bar? Not happy

I just installed a SI round bar on my buddies 05/06 636 the other day, he only had it on for 2 sessions and its already falling apart...And he doesnt gorilla scrape, or even scrape fast or very long...Just the occasional SS scrape and tapping it once in a while while stalling SS tricks..

So anyways first of all Im not too happy with the SI round bar, it didnt fit well and the holes are much larger then they need to be. So even when they are tight there is alot of play in the mounting, you can tighten it as much as possible and it will move 1/2" on the first scrape. It already moved so much it started to smash his tail section as it moves up with every scrape...

So what are you guys doing for 05/06 636 subframe and roundbar issues?
I think his his sub is already bent up and its only been 2 session....Is there anything on the market to stop the roundbar and subframe from bending upward with evey scrape

I have bent my Subframe on the first scrape of the round bar. And I only weigh 160lbs. That thing came off so fast I was able to get it out with the trash on garbage night.

I loved the round bar on mine, I actually have an extra brand new powers round bar at my house i can sell for 100+ shipping, never mounted, and the thing is diesel, you'll never bend it.

its b/c the 05-06 subframe goes to singal square tubing (about 6 inch long), and the 03-04 is dual tubing all the way back, eric (e-brake) has suports that run from the rear set bolts too the holes that hold the exhaust on, which is ment to stop the subframe from moving upward... ill see if i can get him to throw some pictures up

Thats the problem, the only reason he wanted a round bar is because he just bought a Yosh slipon for his bike....And he doesnt want to **** it up too bad, he was just scraping away at the stock exhaust before that...

And it was a pain in the *** to shorten that Yosh pipe!

So no one has a fix for the subframe yet? Guess I'll have to make him one myself then... If it was still winter I wouldnt have a problem but now that its riding weather here, I dont really have time to make ****. And I
wish there was something we could just buy, even if its a complete new aftermarket sub...

The ground will bend before my custom 03/04 636 subframe will

what most do is convert to the 6inch led strip instead of the stocker rear brake light. thats why i had matt weld in a piece of flat stock inbetween the loop of the round bar, as to zip tie the little brake strip to it. it is bright, and stays out of the way.

His Powerz subcage came with something very similar, they are called sub ties....But they bolt from the rearsets to behind the passenger pegs, and I think the subframe is bending father back then that so they seem useless..

Where does that one bolt up to? And has it stopped it from bending completely?

those ties go to the holes on which the exhaust bolts up to, they were made by one of his fabricators that built his front stay, hes had no probs with it so far
