Trying to get a longer Idle adjust cable for my 929. What are my options?

Re: Idle Adjust Cable swap?

you need an f2 idle adjuster that will do it.

Re: Idle Adjust Cable swap?

The F2 Cable Is About 3-4 Inches Longer. I Have Mine In The Front Of The Throttle Body, It Sticks Right Out In Front Of My Tank......easy Acccess.

Re: Idle Adjust Cable swap?

900RR cable is too short for the 929/954RR, use an F2/F3 cable, they are very long and work great, run it along the throttle cables to the right front of the tank, make sure to put grease on the thread before you screw it in

Itīs def too short to stick it out in front of the tank, if you run a full fairing bike it wonīt work, on a naked bike you can route it to the side maybe.

I tried a 900rr cable first and had to realize itīs too short, switched to an F3 cable and itīs all fine!
