Honda Cbr 600rr ?????
Hey Guys I Wanted To Know If It Is Possible To Put A 2001 Gsxr 1000 Front End On A 2004 Honda Cbr 600rr. I Also Would Like To Know If It Would Be Worth It. I Dont Know If That Is A Good Front End But I Imagine Its Better Than The 04 Cbr Front End. They Didnt Put Inverted Forks On 600rr's Till 05. Thanks Homies!!!!

Re: Honda Cbr 600rr ?????
Personally I'd probably put a newer 600rr front end on it, if I was gonna do anything
But in all honesty, the front end you have is PERFECTLY fine..
Unless your rolling 300+ foot endo's at balance point, then the ONLY reason you would be changing front ends, is for looks..
You just gotta decide if a $500+ swap is worth it to have 'gold inverted forks'

Re: Honda Cbr 600rr ?????
I rolled endoes fine on the stock 45mm forks with DB bars, but when I wanted to go to clipons the stock 45mm forks and the newer 48mm inverted forks caused radiator rubbing problems when you put clipons on top.....I went with a 954 front end and was around the same height or a hair taller with clipons on top of the triple, which made it REALLY nice for endoes!!!
If you're going to run clipons ON TOP of the tripples, check the length of the gixxer forks and diameter...if they match the diameters of the 954 forks you can use 954, 929, 1000RR, or RC51 triples and make em fit.
If you're going to run clipons BELOW the triple or dirt bars.....keep your stock front end, if you're heavier get new springs and heavier fluid and its perfect! Plus, tear somin up and the front ends are easy and cheap to find!
