Question 04 636 gpr damper help

having trouble installing my gpr on my 04 636. when i put the gpr base plate down and then i have to put my stock steering stem nut on top of base plate and torque down. my question is what tool do you use to torque the steering stem nut back down? the steering nut is 37 mm or 1 7/16 in. I have a 1 7/16 3/4 drive impact but i have no room to get the socket even on the nut because there is not enough space in between the nut and the bracket. i called gpr and they kept me on hold for like 30 mins so i got pissed and hung up. any advice would be helpful.

I notched sum holes on the nut, so I can take a hammer and screwdriver to it... LOL

What you need to do is buy a THINWALL Socket.
