very true...
i keep going back and forth on getting / building a 35 adapter...i can put up with the weight since my use for it would be on a tripod all of the time...
a full stop of light loss kinda sucks though...
but would you say the gained dof outweighs all of the headaches with using one?
It's a pain in the *** to set up and you have to be very gentle with it because it's easily gets knocked out of alignment. You need a production monitor because any on-cam lcd won't give you enough resolution to pull focus, and w/ the monitor, matte box, follow focus and batteries it weighs 12 pounds so it's a ************ to shoot anything handheld and there is a full stop of light loss... but the images are spectacular. I shot a bunch of commercials and music videos w/ that little guy.
