Re: Fla wreckless motorcycle law!!!!!!!!
jesus christ another one of these threads.
the law isnt as rediculous as it sounds.
from another forum: this is a conrgessmans response from a letter sent about the bill.
I am not sure where you are getting your information from but HB 137 has
not become a law but simply passed one Committee in the House of
Representatives. I would also like to bring to your attention that HB
137 has been amended from its original version. I would suggest reading
the copy of the attached amendment and I am sure you will find the bill
to be more agreeable. This amendment addresses many of the concerns that
were brought up when the bill was heard last. I feel that the poor
actions of a few riders should not punish all riders. Subsequently, the
speeding focus of the bill will be increased to anyone that is speeding
50 mph or greater over the posted speed limit. This applies to both
motorcycles and all other motor vehicles. The bill will also be amended
to include staggered penalties for first, second and third time
offenders. First time offenders will face a $1,000 fine. On the second
offense a rider will face $2,500 fine and a one year license suspension.
A third time offender will lose their license for 10 years and have to
forfeit their vehicle. Additionally language has now been incorporated
into the bill that will account for "wheelies" that are beyond the
rider's control.
If you would like to discuss the bill further please feel free to
contact my staff at 850-488-4202.
Thank you,
Carlos
so meaning you have up to 3 chances to be dumb enough to pull over when your driving recklessly. ur bike goes 0 to 60 in 3 seconds or less, dont pull over when u know ur gonna get a wreckless endangerment ticket.

wheelies beyondthe riders control ?
hows that work if you bring your stuff to bp wouldnt it look more wreckless ? will that mean if a cop seen you wheelie you should just hold it up for a few miles to show you are in control ? maybe circles around his car would be nicer ?

Re: Fla wreckless motorcycle law!!!!!!!!
I dont even pay attention to that ****, I dont ride streets very often but when i do i cant control myself. But i also have only ever had one ticket for my tag not being visible (and i have been pulled over a good amount of times). If you arent being a complete tard they usually call you stupid and let you go with little or no penalty. I have had them tell me thank you for not running. They love to use the choppers around here and theres no gettin away from that bitch!

Hahahaha. ya i hear ya. its not a real big city or anything but the damn ghetto bird is out like every night, probably just waistin tax payers gas money for no reason . Never had a run in with it but wouldnt surprise me if someone has. They had it out lookin for a guy who crashed a car and left the scene a few nights ago. And ya its probably a loaner, hell as cheap as they are here its probably a homemade gyrocopter or some ****.
