The gauges are awesome how you mounted them in the tank! I'm jealous.

Re: bike is almost done what do you think ?

I think you should do a write up on the gauge thing for the rest of us... it would seem like a sweet winter project to do next winter... Spring is here and I've been wanting to ride all winter so I am not spending anymore more time fixing the bike then needed. Again sick bike, and think about doing a write up for the newbies like me

Re: bike is almost done what do you think ?

well i didnt take enough pics while i was doing it, but i could definatley explain how its done with the pics that i do have if there is alot of people interested ? its something most people could do its just time consuming but worth it in the end .. as longs as you can weld a little and work with bondo ... you don't have to be able to paint it but it will save you a ton .. i did everything on mine so the only real expense was buying the paint ... i spent over 600 on paint alone!!!! i would hate to see what it would have cost me to have someone do the candy paint

Re: bike is almost done what do you think ?

Yea a write-up would be helpful for sure, but my welding skillz are non existent so can it be done with just bondo?

Re: bike is almost done what do you think ?

no you wouldn't want to do it with just bondo it would break off after a few hits forsure .. but you could do most of the mould in fiberglass . that would last for a while , then clean up the ruff work with bondo ..
and thanks !
