another one bites the dust...
okay so I just crashed my 2007 r6 today. it was at about 25 mph. don't ask about the crash because I dont know how it happen. next thing I knew i was in a parking lot. i must of crashed picked up my bike road it to the next parking lot and dont remember any of it. only thing I remember is being in the parking lot wondering how I crashed. bad concusion lol.
so my question is. what should I do with insurance. I have full coverage. I called the cops and filed a police report. the damage is all the right side fairings, front fairing, bent rearset, right case cover has a little rash, slider and motor mount are bent, pasenger peg is rashed up and clip on and brake lever, and the bottom part that the inner tube goes into on the suspension are all rashed up.
should I claim it and take the check. or should I let them salvage it and take it, or salvage it and try to buy it back and fix it my self...? will progressive let me buy it back? I owe about 7400 on the bike right now.
any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.
I want to figure out my game plan before I call insurance just to make sure I can make the best of this situation.
oh and the cops are trying to get security camera footage from a warehouse that was located off the street, so we will see what happen.

Re: another one bites the dust...
if its pretty much stock.... total it out if you can. grab any small parts you can like rear sets pass pegs and stuff like that and sell them... say they were lost in the crash... most ins wont even notice.

first off I wasn't stunting it in a lot. this was my minty streetbike and I was just cruising in the street, even doing the speedlimit. I have a seperate bike for lots and stuntin in general.
