F4i/954RR question

I have an 01' F4i with a 954rr front end conversion...am i still gonna be able to put a f4i fairing stay and headlight on with no problem when the f4i fairings go on...i don't think there would be an issue just wanted to know.

Re: F4i/954RR question

I think you will have clearance issues near the mirrors

Re: F4i/954RR question

i had a 1000rr front on my f4i with full fairing and with the stock clip ons under the tripple i wasnt able to run the ram air covers and had to do some minor trimming other places. dont know how much diff that 954 clip ons and tripple will be.

Re: F4i/954RR question

Lower triple pinch bolts will hit the bottom of the back of the headlight on full lock... either direction.

they will hit... not a big deal...

are you running clipons or DB? I don't know about clearance with clipons but if you run DB you will need to cut your front and wind screen back to the top of the mirror mounts... that will get you the clearance needed to run lock to lock...

LOL!!! Funny 50! I'm runnin clipon's and tryin to put the stock fairings on with headlight and air tubes with covers. When you say they will hit is it significant? Can i just trim the headlight housing so it won't rub?

I just let it go for a while and the bolts wore their own holes in the headlight.

Not a big deal... just letting you know what it is, cause most people think that it's the steering stops that are hitting.

Forget the air tubes and covers.... they won't fit.
