Re: Cover your handbrake kids

lol...ya, i was in a standup once and went over the front also,...well front and side. I wrecked and busted up the front cowel so when i got her home i stripped it all down and left the gauges and all that BS on. well I didn't exactly realize the black box was a tip sensor...lol I stuffed it in a hole and went on my way stuntin. about 1-2 minutes into a standup 2nd gear wheelie and the bike shut off! dumb dumb put the sensor in a way that made it shut you down for a wheelie instaed of when you fall on the side....sensor is long gone now, but damn that was the hard way to learn.....my hip bone is still killin me

dumb question, but it's one of the last things I need to do... how do you bypass it??? I'm assuming you can't just unplug it...

Re: Cover your handbrake kids

i hate covering both clutch an hb...theres no need to cover the clutch cept for circles...in a straight line specially on the street its just one more thing to think about or accidently pull in etc

I cover both because if I don't my hand brake hits my index finger when I pull it in

and if I try to switch, then I REALLY **** up because in my mind (index = clutch, middle = hb ALWAYS)

Yeah man ya gotta cover that handbrake.. I would never do SS wheelie with out a hand on the brakes. Never know when your gonna have to slow it down or something like that. would you have been off the HB if you were in HC. I dont think so.. This is a case of lazy stunter. lol.

Re: Cover your handbrake kids

I think the funniest crash I saw was my buddy get bucked over the bars of his 929. He was sliding on his back at about 20 mph with the bike following still upright. He was trying to kick the front wheel to get it to lay down but it never did.... until it ran over his leg. Of course it had to happen when I put the camara down.

2 things: you should be more skilled than to "accidentally" pull the wrong one..

and, you need to rider harder on the streets! if you're not doing rev limiter coasters or dragging the rear jump to 50/50 or something crazy then you're just wasting a lane on the street

i'm always doing some sort of wild coast or something stupid on the streets

no ****, that's how we used to bring down the hc scrapes back in the day....merk taught me that **** in 03.

rap it back with high rpms and pull the clutch in as it falls back on the bar, then snap the clutch out to pop the front down. works great and is super smooth.

can I shoot it instead of stomping on it or will that compromise the procedure?
