Why not to stunt without health insurance

Re: Why not to stunt without health insurance
just another reason why you make my idea sound good. i mean, in this country, you pay when you make money, you pay when you spend money, and you pay when the cops\judges think you should pay, but still no health insurance. freedom in this country is just an illusion. my point, the gov't. ***** you over any chance they get, so why not return the favor

Re: Why not to stunt without health insurance
In Canada there is universal health care sort of... but its far from perfect.
"The Canadian system is for the most part publicly funded, yet most of the services are provided by private enterprises or private corporations, although most hospitals are public. Most doctors do not receive an annual salary, but receive a fee per visit or service. About 30% of Canadians' health care is paid for by the private sector or individuals. This mostly goes towards services not covered or only partially covered by Medicare such as prescription drugs, dentistry and vision care. Many Canadians have private health insurance, often through their employers, that cover these expenses." wikipedia
If you wreck without private health insurance in Canada, they may do the surgeries for free, but not the rehabilitation.
Far from perfect up here, far from the worst I guess.

Re: Why not to stunt without health insurance
I remember reading a study about the UK finding that it costs the government more money if your healthy. An that if your fat or smoke they don't have to pay as much since you don't live as long. Kinda scary reading that cause it kinda seems like the government is gonna want you to die so they save cash O_o

Re: Why not to stunt without health insurance
this is turning into another worst injury thread....
Hes been around a lot longer then you.. AND if wishing you a good recovery is the 'polite' thing to do, then how many people here said it and dont mean it? Like going out to eat and the server asks "How are you" And you say "Good." People always say it and don't mean it.. How many people go get some food after a family funeral and say their doing good? I like to mix it up, when i have a good day, i tell them "Im shitty, now get my drink"
Shoulders inuries suuuuuuck. Mine came from a truck though, not a bike
I think if i have to get drug tested, to keep my job, to pay the taxes that go towards wellfare, i think those who get that wellfare check should get drug tested too. I mean if i have to, to earn it, they should to get it. How much money would states save that way?
The cheapest? In terms of money, joining the military would be. I got blown up, and im back to 100% and i didn't pay a dime! And when i broke my hand riding, didnt pay a thing...
but in retrospect, i am paying with 4+ years of my life.... So, 4+ years, or 220ish a month.. take your pick
