Re: Want A Steel Sprocket

Why not just get an aluminum sprocket?

I used the same Thrust aluminum sprocket for ~1.5 years with no real visible signs of wearing.

Everyone I know with Thrust sprockets has had no problems, however I've known a couple of people with Vortex sprockets that have broke off teeth.

I have seen them wear out so quickly. I work at a bike shop and the page that has the vortex sprockets, I drew a giant X across the page.

Re: Want A Steel Sprocket

I bought a thrust last year and rode it for 5 months, took it off and only had 13 teeth left. I will never run aluminum again.
