Ask Teach, hes learnin a lot in the last few weeks..
if I didnt love it.. I wouldnt do it. I could get a 'real' job make 10x as much and be a weekend warrior.. but then Id be a quitter.. and thats not what im about.
Im sure youll do just dandy in XDL buddy... but I dare ya to come do a stunt show with me anytime anywhere..
better bring some bandaids, cause Ill make ya look like an amatuer.. oh.. wait.. you are! :P
all in good fun though boogie.. you were actually one of the coolest people I met back in Vegas XDL last year.. oh ya and that garbage run of mine was on a bike with less than 100 miles on it that I had only ridden a few times..
and I still placed 6th.. what did you place?

boogie, i'll give you one last bit of advice (and dont take anythignn personal, bc htis is funny to me)...it is NOT about the tricks you do, its about HOW you do the tricks. granted, you gotta have hard tricks to do well, but i've been winning on the same basic run for two years and haven't even had to bust out the hard tricks that i have in order to win.
now the bmw is def a different animal for me so we'll see what i have time to leaern in the next 7 days, but its about a RUN and a performance.

Teach I have 100% respect for your riding and achievements, And i would say you are far from an underdog
Your advice is spot on, its not about the trix its about the flow which is why i have been studying and respecting the euros for awhile now.If i cant lay it down then i dont deserve ish.
Honestly im comming to xdl with a different state of mind than i have ever had before...confident with high self expectations but even if i finished last I be stoked that i went out laid it down with the best of the best America has to offer and come home to my wonderful family and home to talk all about the fun i had.
Im a weekend warrior mostly by choice, dont get me wrong if i was offered cheap or free parts or a full ride i would take them but i couldnt leave my day job 65k a year (more $$$ with OT) with full benifits and a sweet retirement! is something I cant give up...if it was I would have moved back home to Sacramento awhile ago. I'd say a year ago i would have thought differently but i think i am actually growing up
I love when the sun comes out in WA and all the fellas are at the spot and i can ride its the most free feeling in the world bar none wouldnt trade it for anything
in the end every one at XDL is there for a reason they put in work and have passion...period.
