i have rocked skate shoes forever and now i have a pair of stasis borne identity's. the only problem with them to me is that they are too clean and i dont want to **** em up, so i still wear some beat up dc's or whatever i have by the door. but the stasis shoes are great for riding and have lots of safety features without sacrificing the feeling from your feet. i hate when im tryin to hit the brake and cant feel it.

What kind of safety features do they have? The shoes are phat and I will definitely rock them but I am looking for some sort of protection.

Those new shift shoes are sweet!! I have to find a dealer to try them on.

 

i got a pair of the bornes and they are nice, took a few days to really break them in good, but now they are comfy as hell. i don't wear them riding though, they are too pimp to **** up... they are actually the nicest pair of shoes i own lol.

 

I use my old-school airwalks... skitch in 'em and I can't even tell... they're holding up well and cheap!!! Oh, and I also wear 'em on a daily basis when I'm not rockin the Icons... I've been usin the same 'walks for almost 2 years now...

glad you should ask that .. . well first off they are made of action leather backed with teflon timax ballistic threads... what this does it make it virtually stab proof up to 700lbs of pressure...for a foriegn object. and they metitgate the force of impact. and the best thing about them is that you would never know this except for the fact it takes about 1 to 2 days to break them in ...and the first time the tempurature heats up in your shoes...the timax actually forms to your feet... and another great feature is that you can wear them skating,stunting,walking running, or chilling with the homies... the look and feel just like regular shoes....so you will not look like a space cadet if you are going to hand with you friends after a stunt session ... i really like the shift shoes.... for a hard core street rider or cayon craver... you guys are use to skater shoes....so you might as well keep up the tradition.

also the soles are made of stealth rubber the kind you use on rock climbing shoes....super grippy... will not slip at all off of painted surfaces
