First Stunt bike...

What would be a good idea for a decent bike to beat on? I'm 15, riding an 03 r6 atm, but don't wanna hurt her. I was thinking about a 97ish f3 or something of the sort, not too big on moving up to a 900/1000 or something unless I got a good deal... What do you guys think for something upto about $3k.

Darkmind is a decent person
Go with a 600, good to start out on but dont plan on doing anything on the highway unless you get really really good with it. Also look for a chep gsxr 750 1. theres a lot of parts running around for the 750s and almost every thing interchanges with the gsxr 600 and 1000 so youll almost (yes i say almost because theres always that one time) never have a hard time finding parts. 2. You get that that extra juice without haveing to move up to the 900s or 1000s. Just my 2 cents.

hmmm....i'd say try a 600 cause cheaper insurance, and when you gear them all to hell it works just the same. hondas also run forever.

otherwise i'd say get a gixxer750. i think i'm gonna sell one of my 929's to get a gixxer 750 cause i have a hell of a time with headshake doing stoppies on my 929's.

everyone asks that and yes is the answer, i have a scott's dampener and i've tried every setting imaginable. i'm not the smartest person but i knew to take the step to try a dampener before selling the bike.

are you sure the steering head or the forks arent tweaked? My friend is rolling well over 100ft on his 929 and he doesnt have a damper at all. If its not you, I wanna say there has gotta be something tweaked on the bike. I bent the forks on my bike one time, theywere pushed back a little but not enough to tell by eyeballing it until I put the plastics on and then you could tell the wheel was pushed back almost an inch. Anyways, that caused my stoppies to get wobbly until I replaced the forks. I remember a pic you posted of your bike and it kinda looked like your forks were bent, but you said somthin about how it just looked funny in the pic.
