Anybody Disslike The Sick Inovations Cage On Their 600rr ?

OK
i been a long time dedicated 905 beliver.

but s.i. seems lke they have a decent product for a decent price.

im leaning towards s.i for the first time in years of 905 cages.

does anybody have any disslikes about the sick inovations cage on their 600rr

every cage has their flaws im sure.

but this will be the deciding factor on what i buy this year.

i run si on my f4i and it's been great, strong and looks good......they don't give me **** for free so i couldn't care less about advertising....id go with si though they don't ship as fast as i'd like but they're good for this industry.

A friend of mine has one on his 600rr...it's a very slim design so there are no shin busters. It seems like it mounts pretty low on that bike and he does have some extensive tank damage from it roilling up on the tank. Thats the only possible down side I can see, but despite that fact I would still def go with si. I have one on my 636 and it's pimp...protects very well not just the motor but the whole bike.

that has nothing to do with SI thats a problem with the 600rr, the engine mounts are very low on the bike so all the cages mount low and will have a problem rolling on to the tank. if youre experienced then the SI will be fine on the rr, i didnt have any problems with mine but if you still like to let go of your bike and pray for the best then u might wanna spend the extra money on the tygershark as their sliders stick out a bit farther and will slightly decrease the tendancy to roll. i didnt have any issues with mine, its kinda the evil of the bike that its gonna rub the tank if the bike goes down at speed, i only dropped mine once like that when my bike shut off in a 50/50 and i had a minor scrape on my tank bout the size of a half dollar and a little scrape on my bar end. not a real big deal. all in all i dont realy like the 600rr so my recomendation is get a 636

I like my 600rr si cage, I would however suggest getting the sliders for the end cause theyll make it less likely to tip over onto the tank and easier to get your allen socket in and out after a few slides.

sounds good so far

thanks guys.

agreed , the monts are way low but i wont be bailing like most newbies...

i tend to save 90% of what happens with (cat like reflexes) lol

just looking for some motor protection n what not.

guess ill proably end up living with some tank damage.

it goes through. and its at the very bottom of the fairing, alot of ppl cram the fairing under it but its not a real good idea.

i went with si for my 07rr. the mounts are low, but if you are a seasoned stunter than you wont have much problems with it rolling onto the tank.

That does mount really low, but that's typically going to be any cage you put on those bikes due to the mounting points.

had one on my 600RR...worked fine, had the sliders on it.....I would recommend the aluminum sliders....loved Ian's cage, but hated his plastic sliders...chunked em after the first time I had to remove em to get to the motor mount.
