-1+3 will it idle?
I have a K6 I started pullin some slow stuff on, If I get it up to the point where I want idle to keep the front up it doesn't do so well. My idle right now is at like 2400rpm. -1+3 gearing. Is it possible? or do I constantly have to play with gas/brake a little?

get it high enough, and you can rock 500rpm idle. it's all about bike balance, and not killing the back break.

Re: -1+3 will it idle?
the idle on those bikes sucks ***, even my 750 sucked but i rode my best friends 06 600 a bunch of times and those bikes idle like garbage but yes it can be done on stock gearing or any other gearing, u gotta get it up there fast if ur still learning its gonna be a little hard for you but youll get it.

just remember the higher the idle the harder you need to rock that brake the harder you rock that brake the bigger chance you have of stalling out!!!! id try 3500 try it out just my 2cents

Re: -1+3 will it idle?
its not possible without bigger sprockets and muffler bearings

Re: -1+3 will it idle?
muffler bearings , come on its 2008, you couldnt do better than that .
p.s. i dont even turn my idle up anymore, but then again im rock a 60 in the rear
and to answer your question, it sounds like operator error.

Alright ******* so I upped my idle to around 3800 and have been able to pull idle all day long now! pretty stoked, the gixxer looks sick for a stunt bike. Now time for a bigger sprocket so I can lower that idle a bit....It just doesn't pull without throttle/brake input when it's at like 1500.
