ok, don't want to start a new thread for this, so i just figured i'd jack this one.
senario- 900rr, idle up, everything fine. lock the rear up in a skid and the idle drops back down to nothing, so i turn it back up, skid again, same thing. im sick of turning this thing back up. any suggestions?
besides, stop skidding!

Alright ******* so I upped my idle to around 3800 and have been able to pull idle all day long now! pretty stoked, the gixxer looks sick for a stunt bike. Now time for a bigger sprocket so I can lower that idle a bit....It just doesn't pull without throttle/brake input when it's at like 1500.
in my honest opinion, the higher your gearing, the harder it is to rock SUPER low idle..
because right now, say 1.5k idle with stock gearing, is say 5mph your moving..
re-gear it, and now to hit 1.5k idle, you gotta be moving a 3-4mph and be in even MORE control..
Keep working on getting more and more smooth on the brake. If your bike wont stay up at 1.5k-2k idle, your probably raping the brake too hard

Well easy on going out an callin me a squid, what you think I was gunna be quiet? And you think I don't know I am a squid compared to having years of experience?
