Im going through physical therapy right now... You can do leg lifts with your left foot only....

Use a ace bandage and do foot excercises with it....
Spell the Alaphabet with your foot

Re: trying to get back in the game!!!!

2 yrs ago i had my heavy *** zx9 fall on my right foot from a sitdown 12, the cage crushed it. My foot was broken for like 3 months; I went to a foot doctor weekly ( still paying the bill) and i just had to stay off it for the first 2 months, on krutches ya know. Then he gave me this boot type thing with a huge heel to keep the weight off of the broken toe bones. But it sucks man, just stay off your foot or it's just going to take longer to heal man. You'll just start off where you'r last point of progression was, until then be the camera man. good luck homie.

Re: trying to get back in the game!!!!

I crushed mine in august, crutches for a bit over 2 months and I didn't really ride until late November but it hurt to do lots of simple stuff, and then winter hit. I was told 6 months to be 100%ish. still hurts and is sore after activity so by spring time it should be good.

Dont rush it cuz reinjuring will set you back to day 1. Just slowly start doing easy stuff like waking with 1 crutch or a cane, stretching, etc. Massage your ankle a lot too. It just takes a lot of time

Re: trying to get back in the game!!!!

I broke my foot beginning of last year. I was in a cast for 6 weeks.

Once the cast came off, it was unreal how much strength my calf lost. My ankle was real weak too, and wanted to roll.

My ankle was the biggest issue after the break, along with the pain involved with the break.

Stretch your ankle. Mine was tight for months after the calf came off, I couldn't squat down because it wouldn't bend. Rotating was painfull too, but forced.

My calf strengthened on its own, along with labored calf raises.

Its been over a year, and my foot still hurts, so take it a day at a time.

When I first started riding, my biggest problem was my ankle rolling. I usually would wear etnies or the such. I bought a pair of $25 ankle braces from EVS, that I wear underneath any skate shoe. They are awesome, and I won't ride without them to this day.

Broke the 2nd and 3rd distal radial in my right foot, powers cage, went to hospital 4 days later, they gave me a ******* slipper so I stole the wheelchair and wheelied that bitch right to the trunk... Rolled around for a month and **** was straight, but then again they didn't have to put a damper on that ****

Re: trying to get back in the game!!!!

DONT reinjure that foot....buddy of mine rebroke his leg and it got infected the 2nd time around....they took his leg the next year!

if you work out your other leg and foot you'll help the recovery alot along with mildly working out your healing foot......it doenst sound right but believe me it is.(part of da edgumakation I be gettin)...if your right foot is the injured one and you work out the left...a 15% increase in strength in your right foot can occur just from working out your left foot......its your bodies way of rehabbing itself.

Take your time and be careful with it, it will be a weak point for the rest of your life if you dont.
