oh he must belong to a special bmw club.. are they the only mfg that has one? can i join the suzuki club??

Re: The New Full Throttle Handbrake Report!

KJ, get over it. use the stuff your happy with. ppl will give their comments on items some ppl know stuff..some ppl talk out their ***... it a big world with a lot of opinions, just weed thru the crap and try to make the best of it.

ok u got a cage reccomended by teach and some others but it broke and u went out and got another one? you bought 5 of these cages before you realized that they were no good for your style (crashing) and u want to blame TEACH for that??? But one thing we can all agree on TEACH is da MAN. I am a squid but am older and a bit wiser, no where near as good as ppl like u and teach but u gotta pick your battles better than that and learn when to quit while your ahead.

that being said, i tried it out today. first order of business was to relocate the master lower on the forks and reroute my lines. i had to bleed the brake real quick again and couldnt get the mush out of it, but after pumping it up, poppping a couple of wheelies...all it took was two cracks of the bleeder valve on the system and it was fine the rest of the day.

second thing i noticed was that i would like an ezpull/msr lever to use for the hb...the one bill sent is fine, but i think an ez pull on the hb line and one on the clutch will be super sweet.

i did a couple ss coasters and some ss circles, tight and wide. i liked the feel and response...had way better strength than my last brembo/ft setup on the RR but i didnt take care of that setup very well. it was sensitive yet didn't overbite. i can't really say anything mroe than that right now because the stock clutch lever is killing me and the gas/clutch/hb combo is not quite second nature on the bmw yet.

so overall, exactly what i expected and hoped for...and i can still go with more 'power' on the hb with the next adjustment, as well as use an ez pull. the footbrake was great all day with no problems whatsoever. i did not move directly from the foot brake to the hb while ina wheelie but it was fine on the ground.

you can check out some pics thanks to greg at www.beadyeyeproductions.com on www.flickr.com ...just look for beadyeyeproductions
thanks for the review teach. it was honest and fair just like i new it would be. update this thread when you get the ez-pull on(i'm thinkin the middle knotch should work).

Sorry... I was drunk as HELL last night when I posted that... I tend to get all defensive of things I believe in when I'm tanked.

TEACH... thanks for the pm... I hear ya completely. And no, I don't hold any grudges about the old FI thing.

It's all good and all relative... water under the bridge... ya live and ya learn.... etc. etc....

I just like to be devils advocate when it comes to sponsor issues and bandwagon jumpers (lil more so after but)... but I will shut up now till I get one of these bad boys and get to play too.

I'm sure it'll be all you said it is and more... (if I didn't think so, I wouldn't have bought one) I'm very familiar with Bill's work ethic and quality of products.

Again, hugs kisses and no hard feelings

Teach Good write up. You should set up something to write for Stuntride Mag on a Tech angle. It was well written.
