Re: Plug a tire?

I've plugged a dozen -- no problems.

But you do it at your own risk.

Re: Plug a tire?

damn man that blows... i've never plugged one... i just get worried about the tire expanding under heat.... my buddies have done it before... on a brand new tire i'd do it but i'd keep under 75 on the highway and wear a little extra gear... (it would bother me cause i have OCD lol)

Re: Plug a tire?

I ve plugged a bunch of tires but i only plug when i have to..... I strongly recommend patching it from the inside its easy just take the tire off and take it to a tire shop they usaully only charge like $10 to patch and the patch will last!!!!! and you dont have to worry about it expanding in the heat like a plug!!!!

I've been running a front tire w/ a plug in the bead area for months now w/ no problems.

The bike never goes over 40mph at most though... lot only.

That would be my suggestion on a brand new tire Our local tire shop will only do it like that now.
