Parked is way harder.. you should be able to in a wheelie

I'm a little over 6'1'' 180 with long legs. I can pull in and out no problem. You gotta dip your **** way back and tuck hard...you'll get it. It does take some skill to learn it so don't think it's impossible, just practice it.

U got flipped clipons on top or bottom?? I'm bout the same size as you. I did realize other than stretching there's alot of technique involved that takes practice.

Re: pulling through into highchair....

Tucking through took me a while to figure out as well with the stock clip on's flipped out. It's trying to get your knee(s) up past your elbow that is the real bitch. I'm 6'2" around 180 and can do it. #2 is right.. gotta dip it waaay back, I get it a little behind balance point and then tuck through.. going to highchair freaks me out cuz it feels like I'm gonna fall off the tank and eat ****, but I bashed it in bigger and further back so.. should be aight.

Re: pulling through into highchair....

Yeeah.. I got some FI 0 degree bars.. so hopefully those make tucking through easier.. just gotta curl up like a ball on the lip of the tank and get your knees through your elbows.. that's the trick. I still want to learn the highchair to spreader tuck.. If you get into a bad situation it takes way too long to tuck from highchair to 50-50 and then swing around the side back to SS.. by then you might as well have drifted off the road.

Re: pulling through into highchair....

I think hc to ss is easier than anything. both legs locked together and out is easier than separating them to 50 then to ss. or even from hc to spreader.

Though on an F4i the tank is soooo skinny up by the triple which make it real easy. I got my clips flipped, on top, and turned out as much as I can w/ my cut fairing. Pull my knees under my elbow to my chest while dragging the inside of my foot against the tank. Havn't tried to hard to get it by dipping it back far etc. Guess I gota play with it a bit and actually practice it instead of trying once then doing sumthing else and I'm sure I can get it. lol

Re: pulling through into highchair....

Bud i just found this thread iv been doin this fo a couple of weeks now: ss jump to 50/50 then pull through to highchair....in my opinion it can be done in two ways (im 6 2" and around 220)

You can do it fast there is more room as bike is further forward to get leg through.

Or Slow you will need sintered pads on your barbrake with that kinda weight (i could not do it until i had sintered pads) get to bp step through to 50/50 gently then continue at bp on idle.... Lean the **** back and pull through fast, just a sniff of clutch so you dont stall (thats messy) and you got it... i was so suprised cos its a mission but i can bust it every time now

you can do it.... come to my spot and we can exchange some moves
