Re: woodcraft vs vortex clip ons

I was leaning toward FI but those convertibars look awesome. A little pricey though and they look like they have a downward angle. I wish I could just get both kinds for a week trial period or something

Your lookin at the wrong ones.... go to "parts and accessories" and if you see the "FG 0 DEGREE" model then there's NO angle....

If you go FI get about half a dozen sets of spare bar tubes, cause you will bend them... even if you never crash.

Found the 0 degree ones, I like them better now

And I guess I wont go with FI. Nothing worse than not getting to ride while waiting for parts because **** broke.

Rockin Vortex flipped. I like em alot. nice and long. Havent dropped the bike hard enough to tell ya if there strong or not but they feel stout. Look sweet to. I got the brushed set with a few replacement tubes 16$ for a pair. not bad.

hey... somebody oughta do it.. hahaha.

I think it's just nice to know whether or not your gettin real opinion on something or just paid advertising to thicken somebody elses wallet.

I'm sure you'll be happy w/ the woodcrafts.... they've had a good reputation on quality for years now.

Re: woodcraft vs vortex clip ons

well i got the woodcrafts on today and ... im dead serious ... i dont know why didnt do this earilier. already i want to rip it. clip ons just igve you that more aggressive feel on the bike. i got so into it i EVEN threw on the upper!

Already i like my hb/clutch setup WAY more.

i run just a little pull back, and flipped.

Ill throw some pics up once i get the Magura 12mm, the wheels painted, vinyl wrap, and cleaned up nice.

The FG 0 degree stainless bars.

I LOVE em... 0 degree... they're wide as hell (perfect for all controls to fit w/ extra room)... and they take a ****** beating. I've slammed em into the ground many times already and they don't bend OR crack... they just pivot in... so all you do is loosen up the bolt, re-adjust the bars, tighten back up and go.

I've tried many a setup... dirt bars... stock clipons, stock flipped.... FI which I did like but went through too many replacement bars(they bend just from pushing down too hard on them).

And these have been the best so far... work great w/ FF cause you can adjust em in every way imaginable so your brake levers don't get in the way of your upper.

Lemme find a pic of mine mounted up.....
You got me interested. Pics?
