Re: f4i front end conversion

on a 1000rr swap, for an f4i will a 929/54 wheel work with 1000rr rotors?

also just so i got this correct, i can use 929/54 lower tripple steering stem beaings....but do u use a 929/54 upper tripple pr 1000rr upper?

as far as calipers does any honda radial calipers fit? 05/06 600rr? or am i sticking to 1000rr?

ive got a 929/54 front abviously....

you need to use both triples from the same front end.... they (954/929-1000rr) both use 50mm forks but the stem is in a slightly diff spot on the 2 of them so they don't mix well...

The rest I cant help you with...I just used all 954 parts on mine

REGARDS TO R1 FRONT END SLAM THE WHOLE THING ONTO A F4I
Hey guys i just bought a shitload of these upper bearings skidmark talks of..
If anyone is interested contact me through my homepage (home numbers and emails).

These bearings were a piece of work to get spent a whole week trying to locate in town here i figured since these were not so cheap and easy to get anymore i would grab extras (5 extra total)
Depends on the interest on people wanting to slam complete R1 front ends onto the f4i's?
Just throwing it out here... but again i have 5 extra bearings available to who wants them!

Putting my R1 front end this afternoon finally.........:>

Re: f4i front end conversion

Update

+10 on the R1 conversion followed skidmarks ways and whole thing is useable.
Was going to run a 929 front end complete but 1000 dollar 929 vs a 300 dollar R1 front end uhmmm do the math....
