Re: How The Hell
How extremely loud would you need the speakers to be to be able to hear it over the wind? and even then it would sound like ****.

Re: How The Hell
mount some small speakers where u want them..prob. somewhere under the handlebars. Get a very very small amplifier, and mount wherever (prob. under tail section or in the back seat). Run your amps power to the battery, ground, and hook the remote turn on to ur ignition source. Then run your rca's to the ipod an u should be good.

Re: How The Hell
haha whatever you do, don't mount the speakers behind you. i did that a while back, and couldn't **** when going over FIVE miles an hour...that was with a 500WATT amp and two 250WATT speakers.
i double the idea of headphones...a stereo is gonna be a pain in the ***...and it'll prolly fall apart after a few spills.

Re: How The Hell
first pic is with the speakers facing outwards...mounted to the cage .... i couldnt hear it good this way ...unless i was riding next to a wall
(but everyone else could hear it :YEAH )
This 2nd pic and setup worked way better...speakers facing the driver...i could hear them up to about 60 MPH
amp in the trunk under my seat... it tended to get warm in there.
bottom line is this system worked ok ...but just ok.... I believe it was too much draw on the battery , making the stator work alot harder...and I believe it would ultimately shorten the life of the charging system (battery and stator )(so I removed the system)
I'm currently using this system (helmet speakers)(not earpods ) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motor...spagenameZWDVW
^^^^ I can hear the music well, up to about 70 MPH ...good luck...
btw ... all Items I used were purchased on ebay... do searches like Marine stereo...Motorcycle Amp....motorcycle speakers....and helmet speakers.... you will have tons of choices for a system for your bike.

Re: How The Hell
I pull the padding out of my helmet, mount some ear buds, then I put the padding back covering up the wires. I have a very small mp3 player that fits in back part of the helmet where the thing that touches your neck go.

Re: How The Hell
or instead of adding more **** to ur bike and wasting money invest in a car audio system in ur truck and when u take ur bike to the lots turn ur car stereo way up and ride by it... thats what we do..
