Stunt Sprocket Setups????

I grew up a roadracer and tearing up the streets, this will be my first year doing freestyle stunting and i got a 99 R6 full decked out ready to go, but i'm waiting to finalize my sprocket setup. Any advice for setups, i want a full on freestyle setup, im not going to ride this on the streets at all. I was thinking -1/+20??? let me know

Re: Stunt Sprocket Setups????

keep stock gearing tell your rocking wheelies steady under 10mph on idle..

Then re-gear to anything you want, I'd say start with +10, MAYBE +15

Just depends what you want, steel or aluminum, and if you want a whole kit with a chain and front sprocket..

But like I said, if you can't hold a wheelie under 10mph, or hell even 20mph FOREVER, then a sprocket will make you WORSE!

Trust me.. You don't need sprockets for slow wheelies, bike will ride a 10mph wheelie all day just as good geared or not geared..

Problem is, if you can't ride a slow wheelie without sprockets, when you get them, you'll be chopping the throttle soo much it'll be harder to go slow..

it to a slow coast cuz i wont be able to yank it up with stock gearing from

ya you can clutch it up from a stand still with stock gearing, just got done rocking my stock geared f4i in the lot :YEAH

I can get mine up by 10mph ,and keep it there all on stock

Just practice practice practice

I don't know your riding abilitys.. But if your REALLY new, you might almost look into a dirt bike to stunt first.. Thats what I learned on, then it made a sport bike a lot easier
