it doesnt wheelie for crap??? with that kind of gearing that bike should wheelie just off the throttle with no effort.

Re: 2005 r6 help

Ok so the bike is running outa rev before i can get it up to my balance point? i have a 900rr with the same gearing and im almost 12in that bike. I was wondering if i should go maybe +1 or +2 on the front sprocket so i can get some revs back? Even from a stand still point i cant seem to bring that front end up?? Are alota eople runnin this setup on 03+ r6 bikes?

Re: 2005 r6 help

Yeah, you must be running out of gear. I've got a stock-geared R6 and it comes up in 2nd no problem.

Re: 2005 r6 help

ya the stock gearing was wayy to easy to stand it up ( freeway ) but ill just give it a try over the weekend? If all else fails ill go back to the 900rr and put the stock gearing back on the r6.

I have a 05 and I'm only -1 +8, we need to trade rear sprockets I want yours..

You just need to practice more, you'll get used to it. Don't try to ride into a wheelie, try to get it to balance point almost immediately, or try lifting it below bp from a dead stop then rocking the throttle into it. It's just gonna take a lil time. That thing should be twitchy as hell now, I'm surprised it's not coming up. "viagra maybe

are you being sarcastic or what.... because i dont understand how you cant lift the front end.... if you're such a beast on the 900rr, then wtf is the problem with the little ole' R6?

from a dead stop what is it doing, a burnout??? that ****** bike should do a backflip with that gearing. i dont understand what youre getting at.

now if you are already rolling... i see your problem. YOU'RE RUNNING OUT OF GEAR, BEFORE THE BIKE EVEN COMES UP.... thats the only thing i can think of, unless you just suck.

now explain your problem or just stop.
