MSR EZ-PULL Question...?

Re: MSR EZ-PULL Question...?
middle hole is stock
top is "wide ratio" (worse then stock)
bottom is EZ (30% more leverage)

Yeah mine chipped off too.. can't tell though, it still works like a charm. The hole closest to the bars is the easiest pull.. it stretches the cable the farthest.

BTW angle has just as much affect if not more as pivot distance, its not that simple that you can just say pivot distance = leverage....

Re: MSR EZ-PULL Question...?
youd think so, but i disagree with them. niner and i had this exact discussion a couple months ago so i went to the garage and compared them. the middle setting was considerably easier than the stock honda lever. Also noteworthy, on my friends gixxer it didnt make nearly as much of a difference.

Re: MSR EZ-PULL Question...?
wether the middle setting is stock or not im sure its close and you just said it yourself, each company is different. The Raptor may feel stock in the middle setting for Suzuki because Suzuki & Honda have different pull ratios...its all in how far the cable is from the pivot.......And another thing
what really sucks is the 'easy' setting you actually get less cable pull which sucks at times

Re: MSR EZ-PULL Question...?
alot of times people run their cable in a screwed up way and it bends to much and so the pull feels harder. make sure your clutch cable is routed the best way with no, or very little bends.
