I just got this 02 F4I yesterday 2700.00 bucks , it only has 1500 mils on it. The forks are bent and the tail section is bent ½ inch. I don’t know if I should replace the tail section ? I just don’t want to get the wobbles when I scrape it. I just feel like the left corner will catch and throw the **** sideways . But it seems like such a waste to get a new one for such a little bend.
Also anyone got any forks and triples 02 F4I ? How much ?

i would try to fix tail like kelm said its not that bad but i think sub frames aren't that expensive either. if you have to replace your front end you might as well buy 929/954/1000/600rr's/rc51 front end.

Scraping the stock tail will not kick you sideways.... its plastic...

Im not talking about scraping the tail section , im saying when I mount the 12 bar on I will be crooked ½ an inch

one of my gsxrs had a bent sub, i took a extra 2x4x20' i had n cut it to 2x4x10' with (2) 2x4x2' sections. i let the air out the tire n put the 2x4x10 through the rim over the lip n the 2 2x4x2' pieces under on each side. took 2 cars n parked one on each side on the the wood over the 2x4x2' sections. grabbed a breaker bar n bent it back as straight as i could, the whole thing hit me $7 on the wood at home depot, 10 mins to measure, cut n set it up n a few minutes of bending n throwing my skinny *** on the breaker bar. half n hour n ur golden

!check the welds on ur subframe, where the aluminum meets the cast parts cus ghetto methids come with prices when u break shat!

I have been talking to him and he seems like an ok dude but how far does that go , of course he being cool he doesn’t have my money yet. J/k just wondering if you have gotten **** from this dude ? You can bend that subframe back with a simple prybar and 2 buddies to hold the bike! I have seen some really tweaked subs straightened with little effort! My 900 is one of them! Looks like nice bike for $2700:YEAH

Yeah it’s like brand new aside from the forks being bent and the ugly ****** paint , nothing a little rattle can cant fix. It would be nice to be able to leave the stock colors but that **** is just to ugly……………

oh and take the rear plastics off, get a cheater bar (something heavy) and stick it through your subframe and start tweaking. just dont get to crazy. when you feel it get crazy stiff, let off! if that makes any sense.

you don't want to use heat on aluminum you will anneal it and it will always be soft!
