Re: Cage
No, not at all. I f'n suck and drop my bike all the time (pretty hard sometimes). A lil black nail polish here and there and you would never tell my cage has hit the ground. Tygershark is the **** and has mastered the cages industry in my eyes. And they are great in the turns too. After dealing with Tygershark ill never look back at the Powers/SI/FI days again.

Re: Cage
I had a Freestyle cage on my old R6....No major problems, but not a great cage. I had a Sick Innovations cage on my F4i and that thing took a severe beating without any problems. It was an awesome cage with plenty of shin clearance and solid, solid, solid. I got a great deal on a Tygershark cage. I bought it and because my SI cage was a little tweaked, I had to cut the cage to get it off. It was painful to see it go. If I could do it over, I might have just stuck with my SI cage, BUT...The Tygershark cage is solid. The cage has taken everything I've given to it, and I drop my bike a lot. I love the spring loaded sliders. The only issue I have with the Tygershark is the shin clearance. I'm not too sure why, but I bang up my shins on it more than I ever did with my SI cage.
In my opinion, stick to SI or Tygershark. Both are great cages. Quick pros and cons in my evaluation of both:
SI Pros:
Sturdy
Relatively less expensive when compared to Tygershark
No shin clearance problems for me
SI Cons:
Less clearance when leaning/drifting your bike.
A lot more to have on your bike period.
Tygershark Pros:
Spring loaded sliders.
LIFETIME warranty.
Less bulk, but still completely sturdy.
Plenty of clearance to do anything.
Tygershark Cons:
Expensive.
I have shin clearance problems.

Re: Cage
I am picking up a Street bike in the next couple weeks I have a SI cage on my stunt bike but I was wondering what would be good for a street bike but still give it some pertection.. Powers race rails, FI Frame sliders, or how is the tiger shark street cage? I dont want my street bike to look like a damn stunt bike thanks.
Has anyone crashed with the powers race railz or seen any one crash and know how they hold up? I see they even have extended sliders for them?

Re: Cage
tyger shark cages are very good. with a lifetime warranty on the stunt series cages.
one of the cool things is the design allows ground clearance for drifting and other stunts.
the apex and cj designs are very sturdy and dont bend or twist much at all.

Re: Cage
get the Tygershark.. solid as **** and it does not need the bottom support to be the strongest cage ive ever seen.. And WARRANTY.. Last moneys youll spend on a cage.. ever.. if you have never had one you dont know about em but they take a fricken beating.. and tryto destroy it and if you do you send it back and get a new one.. WARRANTIES are not slapped on shitty products otherwise companies go out of business.. Buy the tygershark.. ask APEX if your unsure..
