cables for dirt bars

I just put dirt bars on my 01 f4i and was wandering if anyone had any suggestions on getting longer cables. . .are there any models I can take cables off of or do I have to get them custom made

Re: cables for dirt bars

Just reroute them and you should be good

Only problem I had was with my throttle cables binding, and I just trimmed the front part of my air box where the cables pass through, so they wont bind at all

As you can see, the red f4i has all kinds of slack in the throttle cables... My green bike is a little tighter, but no binds

Re: cables for dirt bars

I had all three cables made from motion pro or is it pro motion , anyway I went 6 inches longer on both throttle and clutch cables for my 900rr! I should have went only 5 inch on clutch, but it works ! I tryed rerouting and wound up with a wide open stuck throttle!peace
