Re: f4i wont hold charge
god i hope its not the plugs i hate changing those things...nah wen i put the new battery in it started n ran fine..but the battery slowly got weaker within like 2 weeks...an now its been sitting in my cold garage for 4 months..so i think a new battery n rectifier shud do the trick...i am going to check the stator plug also
well it sounds like the regulator wasn't converting so that does sound like your gremlin.hit me up if your still having problems

Re: f4i wont hold charge
not an expert. but heres what i'd check first
1.new battery(you've already got that covered)
2.check charging voltage with a multimeter on battery. at 5 or 6k it should be close to 14 volts.
3. If that is good. then most likely be the regulator/rectifier.
hope this helps

Re: f4i wont hold charge
put the new rectifier on, guna go get a new battery, and sum dielectric greese..the white plug by the stator seemed to be fine no melting or corosion..one of the relays on the subframe makes a wierd clicking sound when i turn th key on..i took it off an it was all green an corroded on the inside
