Stuntriding works funny parts of muscles u just never work. Gota ride more than just the weekend to really work them out. I hit the gym 3-4 days during the week and ride on the weekend and still feel like I got beat with a baseball bat later that night or the next day. Stretching is always good.. Go ride

Pfeiffer is in his mid thirties and AC is in his 40's so there's some OLD one's for ya. Like OMR said if you stretch real good before your ride you pull up alright the next day. Any you guys get the leg shakes after trying staggered's and SS's for the first time?

I'll get the shakes after a near miss or something, and have to take a few seconds to calm down again.

Interesting to see how many of you actually say that when you ride the pain goes away, or something like that.
There is actually a very real connection between the Adrenal gland and the release of endorphins in our body. Everyone knows that, but there is also a real connection between chronic pain sufferers and adrenaline junkies.lol I guess that in a way we all may be seeking the endorphin rush in our lives as a subconcious way to actually deal with pain.....
so it then becomes a; "Which came first... the chicken or the egg??"
type of a deal.
I found that weird as I was reading a deal about that in the Dr.'s office the other day.
OH, & I'm 33 and I have wicked arthritis, so I know all about being sore after riding! I know that I will feel like my arms wanna fall off after the next time I ride cuz it's ben so damn long, but that won't stop me!! Long periods of off time like winter suck... no matter how old you are!

i am 36 and i still stunt. i am prob. in better shape at 36 than i was at 18. i have always been in good shape, but i really started hitting the gym hard when i turned 30. i workout 4 times a week and it really makes a big difference. i believe you can still do the same things in your 30's and 40's, but if you do not exercise, it takes longer to heal if your sore.

I definately get more tired/sore nowadays than when I first started stunting like 6-7 yrs ago. I used to have so much more energy , one thing that wears me out a hellof alot more than riding nowadays is snowboarding , i just went these past 2 days ,with only a few rail falls ,and i am feeling like I got beat all over. But i do try to work out a couple times a week.
"Ill keep riding , as long i keep getting better each year ,no matter what age"

Re: How old is too old?!?
you're too old when they put you in the ground . I read about a bloke of 67 years old caught doing a wheelie at 104 mph .
I'm 34 , so that gives me 33 years to learn to do a proper power wheelie . i'm going out to practice now and then go home and put on my slippers and have a nice hot cup of coco .
