Question Stunter pipes?

Do you guys even bother with loudass exhaust pipes or do you just go stock. Also, whats the best sounding pipe for a gsxr750?

I usually run stock pipes, its much quiter and attracts a lot less attention from plus you won't get people living in the area calling and complaining about the noise.

i am with verticaljay on this one, but if you like loud and your bike is a piece, I would go with any pipe cut in half, I love that ****!

when i had my gixxer i loved the stock pipe, nice and quiet and the stock ones for gixxers aren't really that big, now that i have an f4i i'm pretty much forced to get one or it will scrape before the tail......on a gixxer i'd leave it just saw off the tip....my .02$

His may be a dumb question guys, but where exactly would you saw 3 inches off the pipe? Is that how they get those "stubby" pipes on their bikes? I thought those were specially made or something?

They do make shorter pipes, but I beleive most people just cut them. Just need to remove the rivets on one end, hacksaw throught the entire thing, and then re-rivet it.

definately roll with stock pipes. less cops, and people getting pissed off, thinking your racing your bike the whole time. when your not racing at all... people are morons.

3" chop

I just got a stock exhaust for my R6(took my loud D&D off for stuntin)and it's way too long for scraping I was thinkin of chopping 3" off the back but was wondering about fuel/engine performance. Is chopping 3" a major modification or is it just a shorter stock pipe? Fill me in on the info. Thanks.

my pipe is a Hinde carbon cut down to about 12" and it sounds sweet and doesnt drag but my bike definatly runs alot smoother with the stock exust and stock is way quiet less noise for the old ppl to complain about
