Re: range of speed and gear for wheelies highway
like everyone said.. back road or parking lot.. practice staggered clutch up hovering your rear brake or sit downs which ever u prefer.. the harder u clutch the faster it comes up and slower ul be going... its trial and error and alot of practice.. just go do that and ull be gettin it in no time..

Re: range of speed and gear for wheelies highway
i have been riding my wheelies to the point i'm redline and have to sit the bike down cause i'm in 1st gear doing sit down wheelies. so 2nd gear i don't think i'll have a problem finding the range on my zuki 600 "05". my question for the experience is to perform wheelies on highways, what gear or what is the speed range to get it up!!?!?!!? is it possible sitting down? i am taking my time on stand ups cause i'm not all the way up doing it just yet. i'm *sort of speak* taking it safe bringing it up bit by bit higher. when i bring it up i'm dippin in 2nd gear going about 35-40 in 2nd gear. i'm also with both feet on pegs and none on rear, i tried that and...lets just say the bike was gonna go side ways on me . so performing sitting down on highway or standing up,what is the gear or avg speed? a guy from work is telling me go about 60 and it'll come up in 2nd gear. what is you guys outlook cause that to me just don't sound right at all to me for what i have read on this site. i have tried finding info on this situation but have yet to find any, so help me out guys!!
yo 50...... i think this guys a little homo 4 u.......

Take Ur *** To A Parkin Lot Learn How To Clutch It Up And A Wheelie Is Not How Fast U Go To Bring It Up It's How U Clutch It Up And Keep Ur Foot On The Rear Brake Never Take Ur Foot Off The Rear Brake It Might Save Ur Life One Day

Re: range of speed and gear for wheelies highway
no, i slipped the clutch, the chain was on the side of the sprocket like it was coming clean off. so you mean to tell me when you 1st started you just up and did it like you been doing it for years? this site i come across people with advice and willing to help, not bitches that talk it just because they go to try.

Re: range of speed and gear for wheelies highway
your bike will clutch up 2nd and third but your bike will also do 70 wound out in first. i have the same bike in second you can roll 70 and not have it wound out past 9,000 rpm and still have some throttle to play with. practice some were were theres little to no traffic. i started by clutching up 1st gear at 30-35 untill i got bp and could ride them out for long distances, and then i lowerd my clutch up speed untill i could clutch it up from a dam near stand still. so like everyone is saying take it slow dont go out on the freeway and practice and watch and study videos on hear.
