Best Visiblity On A Street Helmet Is?
i wear a db helmet because of the visibility i want to go back to a street helmet but mine has poor visibility up down and side to side
the last helmet i remeber having good visibility was Icon
is there another helmet with wider/longer opening?
im almost thinking of going open face but that doest look as good to me

guess i better go to the bike shop with a ruler...
unless i can get some measurements from everyone out there with your helmets...that would make a great thread, it would provide visibility measurements
i.e
bell= 4 in. tall opening x 9 in. wide opening
etc etc etc
lets go down the list of helmets, unfortunately all i have is a closet full of bell helmets

I've worn an Arai, Shoei, Icon, and Craft.
The Craft I wear now has the best visibility of them all by far (of the ones I've worn). The main advantage is the horizon is much higher.

i dont think any full face is going to allow the amount of peripheral vision that dirtbike helmet does, based on the fact that they are designed to house goggles inside them.
when i get my next bike im gonna go with a motard helmet. because they have the flip-up visor without the vision restrictions of a conventional full face.

for added effect you could get: goose, maverick, wild card, or iceman painted on the front.

nope this is what i got. it has a quick release click strap and its not as bulky as a dot approved helmet. but it is still rock solid and way comfortable too. i'm gonna love it for the summertime. i love my fullface arai helmet but it bakes my brain!

I don't know, I really do like my KBC. I've worn all of the cheaper brands. Not only because I'm cheap, but for how abusive akro is, it makes no sense to dump 500 on something I'll beat up. So I like to make do with what I can, thus far KBC held up the best and I'm a heavy abuser. The visibility is good on the low, the upper is a little intrusive (in an endo) like any full face helmet is. I prefer my full face KBC over my dirt when it comes to visibility.
180.00 - The one I use
149.00 - I'll probably use this one next year
269.00 - This one too, seen it in person, its NASTY

kbc has really come quite a long way from what it used to be. they have always been cheap helmets but they have stepped up there game. the old ones were heavy and gahhbage
