Re: WAVE ROTORS! Good or BAD?!

Like i said before someone shouted in my face... does anyone run standard pads in the front these days or do you all use sintered..

Oh and to the guy above please do not shout in my face for a simple thread jack if you were in the same room as me you would not shout in my face!

ps never tried wave rrotors but as i have deduced from this thread so far they might or might not be good depending on your personal pref!!

i think im gonna try wave rotor on the rear thing is the standard ones come up on ebay from time to time and they go sooo cheap cos no ****** needs em cos most of the street riders never touch the rear... but if i keep grooveing the wavy ones im looking at cost... i will try though, you have to try

Re: WAVE ROTORS! Good or BAD?!

if your grooving a new rotor it's cause you didn't use brand new pads when you 1st put it on...

a new rotor needs to be heat-cycled a few times b4 it gets really hard or fully tempered... if your using old pads w/ old wear marks already on them, then they'll ruin the new rotor quick!

if you look at the box of any new rotors they always tell you to use new pads or it voids the warantee.

so use new pads and break it in sort of easy... get it hot, but not scorched.... then let it cool off for a bit.... then repeat.
