well then. that should be easy. now ill ust have to measure the differences in the lengths and then apply that to give a similar trail.

Re: 03-04 636 front end on f4i

iv got inverted 750 forks on my 600 gsxr..

has anyone went that route besides me?

I like my forks.. they seem to have not blown tho my left side is about to go.. and i put it through a world of hurt..

Inverted to Non-inverted what you guys like better??

I havent really ridden my f4i enough to compare the front ends from eachother but overall the bikes iv ridden i like the 750 forks !

Somebody around here used 03/04 636 forks with 954 triples on F4I. He had to make shims for the lower triple because they're smaller at that point. The front end tweaked real easy because of the shims and he ended up putting stock F4I back on

what do you mean tweaked? its shouldnt do that as long as everything is tight. sounds like the shims were to thin

not as easy as you are thinking...

think about it... just because kawi forks slide into 954 triples... which RIM are you going to use... the 954 will have the right width/spacing but most likely has a different size axle... the 636 rim is probably no the exact same width and the rotor spacing might be off, and the spacers will most likey be off... AND you still have that axle issue cause you are trying to use a kawi axle with honda fork spacing...

50mm doesnt mean everything else is the same...

like roger said, anything is DOABLE... custom spacers/bearing/axle/etc... is it WORTH it or is it easy enough that it's worth doing...

just some more info for you to think about... keep at it if you really want it you will find a way...

oh but for what its worth, with some thinker fork oil and maybe a spring i have seen stock F4i forks work well and roll consistant 500+ ft stoppies... might be WAY easier than frankensteining a kawi front end on...
